ABOUT THE SCHOOL-BASED FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM
The SBFS program is specifically designed to integrate specialized support within school environments, addressing the direct needs of students and their families. By partnering with local schools like yours, OKDHS aims to deliver targeted interventions and resources that promote both student well-being and academic success. The school-based specialists become integral members of your school team, working hand-in-hand with teachers and administrators to create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere that fosters learning and development.
The new program is about 80% funded by DHS, so worth checking out to see if it's a fit for your district!
Please join me and other Coalition members to learn more about this exciting and important program! (see attached flyer)
See you online next Thursday, the 19th!
