Important Announcement to parents:
Keota Public Schools and Keota City Police would like to inform the community and parents of an incident that occurred in the overnight hours of Thursday, October 2, 2025. All of the school's show goats that were housed in the greenhouse were un-alived in their pens. We know it was not another animal. At this time, Keota City Police and Haskell County Sheriff's Department are on campus investigating. The safety of our students and staff is the school's main priority. If you have any information regarding the individual/individuals responsible for this egregious act, please contact Ms. Dominguez 918-966-3950 or Kevin Nixon at the Keota Police Department. There will be a cash reward offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual/individuals responsible.
